The Historical Society will host an open house where anyone can learn about Westborough's history - like at their Civil War Day event they hosted with the Historical Commission this past summer.

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. – What are you doing this weekend? Westborough is offering a number of events to keep you busy during this last full weekend of January.

Come celebrate your birthday at the Westborough Senior Center’s January Birthday Lunch. If you celebrated a birthday this month, visit the senior center, 4 Rodgers Road, for a free lunch on Friday, Jan. 27 at 12 p.m.

Make reservations by 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26 for a lunch provided by the Friends of the Westborough Senior Center. Birthday cake and ice cream are provided as well. Transportation is available.

Also on Friday, watch the Westborough High School’s girl’s basketball team compete against Northborough’s Algonquin Regional High School. Watch the game at Westborough High School, 90 West Main St., at 5:30 p.m.

Westborough students can participate in the SAT exams at Westborough High School on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7:45 p.m. Many colleges require SAT scores when students send applications in.

On Sunday, Jan. 29, join the Westborough Historical Society for their open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Walk through three centuries of Westborough history at the Sibley House, 13 Parkman St.

Interested residents can discover old maps, photographs, and artifacts that bring the town’s history alive.
